While a solid understanding of the customers’ needs is paramount, a sound understanding of the insurance industry is too.

- I started in the insurance industry whilst I was still in shorts, aged 12 as a Saturday boy!
- Strong relationships with insurers/underwriters.
- I am versed in many areas of the insurance industry to include the liability & commercial aspects.
- I started writing taxi insurance in 1995 and have studied the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, which is used to regulate the local taxi and private-hire trade.
- I liaise with various councils and also aid them with the insurance aspect of the licensing trade, should any proposed changes take place, and the effect this would have over the taxi trade.
- I also have had my own vehicle plated and has been on circuit, so I especially understand the trade in that respect.
- Versed in the individual taxi, multiple and fleet vehicles
